Advanced Ecology was established in 1993 by foresters and wildlife biologists. Advanced Ecology’s history plays an important role in the success of the firm. Unlike most environmental firms, all of our staff members have a background in natural resource management.
We created the company to bridge the gap between increasing environmental regulations and traditional natural resource management. Terry Anderson, president of Advanced Ecology, saw this gap as an opportunity to create a firm staffed by professionals with extensive experience in traditional forest and wildlife management and with extensive training and knowledge in the ever-expanding field of environmental regulations.
With that goal in mind, we have assembled a team of natural resource professionals with a thorough knowledge of environmental investigation balanced with a concept of achieving practical project goals and regulatory compliance. The company uses a multidisciplinary, yet common sense approach to search for affordable and effective solutions to resource management challenges.
Our area of operation is extensive. Staff members regularly operate across the southeastern United States. The firm has ongoing projects in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. We have also worked on projects in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Utah, North Dakota, Montana and the Bahamas in recent years.
