Chris
Adams, Forestry Operations Manager
Chris joined Advanced Ecology, Ltd. in September
of 2002 and currently serves as the Forestry Operations
Manager. Chris has approximately 6 years as a professional
forester to his credit. Chris graduated from Texas
A&M University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science
in Forest Management.
Upon graduation, Chris began his professional career
in Conroe, Texas working with a forestry consulting
firm. Chris also had a short stint with the Texas
Cooperative Extension Service where he worked closely with private landowners, forest industry personnel and professional foresters as the lead in establishing educational forestry programs at both the state and national level.

Through his professional experiences, both during
and prior to joining BF
, Chris has gained extensive
knowledge in numerous aspects of natural resource
management for both the private and public sector.
His position with BF
consists of managing over
100,000 acres of private forestland, implementing
large-scale natural resource inventories, working
closely with forest landowners to develop detailed
forest management, harvesting and reforestation
plans, as well as silvicultural prescriptions.
Chris is currently a candidate member of The Association
of Consulting Foresters, a member of the Texas
Forestry Association, serves as volunteer Tree
Farm Inspector for the ATFA and is a Quality Vegetation
Management Certified Advisor.
Chris and his wife Susan have been married for 6
years and currently reside in Henderson, Texas. |
